Using the current App Store version?

To request account deletion, email Hello@ScrapMapsApp.com from the email address registered to your ScrapMap account. Use the subject ScrapMap Account Deletion. We may ask you to verify account ownership before processing your request. Do not email passwords, payment-card information, or identity documents.

Using ScrapMap 2.0 or later?

After the redesigned ScrapMap 2.0 version is released, you can initiate deletion from inside the iPhone app:

1. Sign in to ScrapMap.
2. Open the profile menu and select Profile.
3. Choose Delete Account and read the explanation.
4. Confirm Delete my account.

You can always use the support email above if you cannot access your account or the in-app deletion option.

How long does deletion take?

Accounts without outstanding payment or identity obligations can generally be processed promptly. If your account has accepted transactions, pending Stripe payouts, disputes, or identity-provider obligations, additional review may be needed. We aim to complete review requests within 30 days and will confirm completion where we have an account contact address.

What happens to my data?

We remove personal information and user content that we no longer need. Some minimal payment, fraud-prevention, tax, accounting, or dispute records may be retained only as required by applicable law. Service providers such as Stripe may have their own legal retention requirements.
